The lightning-caused fire in October 2007 at the Keeney Memorial had closed the Wethersfield Museum and the rental venue for six months, but it reopened on March 27 for a "Thank You" reception to the many volunteers who helped fight the fire, protect the collection, and get the historic structure back "on the job."
